Mark's Story
Started out as the proverbial ugly duckling and didn't learn my lesson (i.e. thick skin) until I went to college - but became a successful professional as the Director of Customs for my company in SoCal. Left Seattle to get past the parochialism and wanted to start a new life in a great climate - and it worked! The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Landson Quan, because he made the biggest difference in my life - of all the friends I had, he (without knowing it) pointed me in a direction where I now have lots of fantastic friends and a true admiration and appreciation of Chinese and Vietnamese cultures. It's now my life - and I am eternally grateful for his friendship and support when I was growing up. .
